Salvador Weather & Climate description
Salvador has a tropical climate and is typically hot and humid year-round with constant temperatures throughout the course of the year, however, winds blowing in from the ocean help relieve some of the heat.

Although Salvador can be visited year-round with nice weather, probably the best time to go to Brazil is between February and June, especially February which is during Carnival. During these months you can sunshine and nice weather.

Temperatures
Temperatures are relatively constant throughout the course of the year in Salvador, featuring warm and humid conditions. March is the warmest month, with highs in the mid 80’s and lows in the mid 70’s, while July is the coolest, with temperatures in the 70’s.

Rainfall
Salvador features a tropical rainforest climate without a noticeable dry season, however, Salvador’s wettest months are between May and July and 21 cm of rain falls during each of these three months. Salvador’s driest month of the year is February, where the city receives on average 11 cm of precipitation.
