Brazil is home to some of the most glamorous models in the world and has produced so many of the world’s top models. Many would say they are beloved for their exotic features and sexy accents, whatever it is, it’s fair to say that Brazilians Models have dominated the fashion industry.

Gisele Bundchen:
Gisele is considered one of the top models in the world and is one of the most recognized model in the industry. She was born on July 20th, 1980 and was born in the Brazilian town of Tres de Maio and grew up in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. She became well-known while she worked as one of Victoria’s Secret Angels from 2000 until 2006. Since 2004, she has been the highest-earning model in the world.

She once dated actor Leonardo DiCaprio from 2000-2005. A few years later she started dating American football star of the New England Patriots, Tom Brady, and they soon got married in 2009.


Alessandra Ambrosio - Brazilian supermodel

Alessandra Ambrosio:
Alessandra was born in Erechim, Brazil on April 11, 1981. She is considered one of the most versatile models in the industry and is one of Victoria’s Secret Angels and was chosen as the first spokesmodel for the company’s “PINK” line. She has also modeled for brands such as Armani Exchange, Christian Dior, Next, Ralph Lauren and many other. She is among the world’s top-earning models.







Adriana Lima:
Adriana was born on June 12, 1981 in Salvador, Brazil. She was discovered at the age of 15 when she took the top spot at Ford Supermodel contest. Since then she become one the most prestigious model in the fashion industry modeling for Gucci, Valentino Vera Wang, Giorgio Armani, GUESS?, and among others.

She is best known as one of the faces of Victoria’s Secret Angels and was also worked as a spokesmodel for the make-up brand Maybelline. She is among the highest paid supermodels in the industry.


Isabeli Fontana - Brazilian supermodel

Isabeli Fontana:
She was born in Curitiba, Brazil on July 4, 1983. She started her modeling career when she was really young after she made the finals of the Elite Model Look and in the following year she moved from Brazil to Milan, Italy, to start her modeling career at the age of 14.

In 1999, when she was just 16, she appeared in the Victoria’s Secret catalog. This generated a bit of a controversy in fashion world, since Victoria’s Secret reportedly violated its policy of only hiring models that were 21 or older. However it helped kick-start Isabeil’s career further.

She has modeled for numerous brands such as: Armani, Chanel, H&M, Hugo Boss, Nicole Farhi, Oscar de la Renta, Peter Hahn, Philips, Ralph Lauren, Revlon, Saks Fifth Avenue, Tommy Hilfiger, Valentino, Versace, Victoria’s Secret, Vivara, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and many others.


Raica Oliveira - Brazilian supermodel

Raica Oliveira:
Born in Niteroi, Brazil on January 22, 1984, Raica Oliveria is a Brazilian supermodel that first started her modeling career in 1999 at the age of 15, when she entered the Elite Model’s agency when they were looking for the new face of Brazil 30,000 girls showed up and Raica won the second place. After that, she did some modeling at fall fashion shows in Paris and Milan and became one of the most talked about models of the season.

She has modeled for numerous companies, including Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Victoria’s Secret, Pepe Jeans, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, JLO, H&M, Elle, Marie Claire, Vogue, Ann Taylor and others. As of 2008, she has been working as a fashion reporter for Jornal Record.
